Details:

• The Outreach & Enrollment Specialist (OES) conducts a variety of outreach and enrollment activities designed to identify eligible individuals and provide assistance with accessing affordable health insurance and other essential resources.  The OES represents NHFHS at various community forums and events to increase awareness and promote support for comprehensive, sustained community programs designed and targeted to meet the primary health care needs of the medically underserved.  The OES develops new collaborative efforts and partnerships to advance the goals of NHFHS

Experience and Skills:

Education:

• Minimum of Associates Degree in Human Services or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and SC Licensure as LBSW, or related human service field

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with case management, accessing community resources, agency networking, community outreach, patient education, or client advocacy
• Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of a variety of federal, state, and local resources, programs and services involved with Outreach and Enrollment Initiatives
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision in the efficient and thorough completion of task
• Strong motivation to help other and ability to work with diverse population
